This project is all about light: a double-aspect central living area and open kitchen receiving lights from the main street and the internal courtyard for a stunningly brilliant effect.

We have used classic light oak timber to the floor, with a contemporary twist in the pattern – it has been laid as herringbone instead of the more traditional chevron – which enhances the natural brightness of the house.

A careful colour palette has been chosen to decorate the walls and to underline specific areas of the project, such as the entrance hall or the kitchen niches.

A timeless terrazzo floor has been used in the bathroom, along with black sanitary ware, to give an unexpected playful look.
